About This Access Site
Sturdivant Park offers a convenient boat ramp and short-term tie-up dock on the lower Coquille River near Coquille, Oregon. The ramp is protected from the river current and relatively easy to use, though it is narrow—larger vessels typically launch across the river at the alternate Sturdivant Park location. The facility includes basic amenities such as a bathroom and fish cleaning station, making it suitable for anglers and day-use boaters. A playground with a slide is also available on-site.

**Important note:** This ramp can accumulate silt during winter months and may become temporarily unusable until Coos County clears the launching lane. Check current conditions before visiting during high-water periods. The location provides excellent access to the lower Coquille River estuary and is well-positioned for exploring nearby paddling opportunities, including proximity to Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge at the river's mouth. Camping is available on a first-come basis (no designated sites), and modest fees apply.
