Sugar Ridge Fish & Wildlife Area/Blue Grass Fish & Wildlife Area

The Otter Pit boat ramp provides access to one of seven ramps available across the Sugar Ridge and Blue Grass Fish & Wildlife Area complex near Evansville. This ramp serves Otter Pit, where **outboard motors are permitted at idle speed only**—electric motors are limited to 12-volt maximum. The facility is managed by Sugar Ridge FWA and includes designated parking areas; please use only marked lots. The surrounding area comprises over 2,500 acres of reclaimed strip-mined land featuring approximately 28 pits and lakes totaling roughly 600 acres of water.
