**Important Note:** There is no public boat ramp directly on Sunfish Lake itself. However, small watercraft can be launched from private lands along the lakeshore, and the nearby North Lake boat ramp (also accessible via Spanish Pond Road) provides an alternative access point in the Spanish Lake area. Boats are permitted on Sunfish Lake, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational boating on calm waters.

**Getting There & Amenities:** The site is located in Spanish Lake, St. Louis County, and is near the Spanish Trace trail system, which loops around both North Lake and Sunfish Lake. A shelter with power is available to reserve, and the city offers free canoe and kayak rentals—inquire at city hall's front desk for a swipe card to access rental equipment. The area is also close to Gateway Arch National Park for additional recreation opportunities.
