Sunset Beach Park offers boat ramp access to Gages Lake on the east side of the water body in Grayslake, IL. The facility includes a designated boat launch, trailer parking with required County permit display, and amenities such as picnic tables, grills, restrooms, and a playground. The park is open from sunrise to sunset daily (except as posted for closures). Note that boat ramp keys are restricted to Wildwood Park District residents only.
Paddlers and boaters should be aware that alcohol is prohibited in the park. Trailer-launched boats must display a valid County permit on the left side of the trailer bow stand (or left side if no bow stand is present). This is a straightforward access point for recreational boating and fishing on Gages Lake, with basic facilities available for day-use visits.
