About This Access Site
The Swan Lake Day Use Area boat ramp is located in Swanville, near mile marker 72 on Highway 83, just north of town. The primary ramp accommodates both motorboats and paddle craft, with parking and basic facilities available at the day-use area.
**For paddlers:** Kayakers and canoeists are advised to launch east of the main ramp along the shore to avoid conflicts with powerboat traffic. An alternative access point is available a block west at the end of Blank Road, where unimproved public access to the water may be available. This second option could be a quieter launching spot depending on your preferences.
Swan Lake is a multi-use recreational lake suitable for paddling, fishing, and motorboat activity. Check conditions before launching and be prepared to share the water with powered vessels during peak use times.
