Swansea Town Beach

**Location & Access:** Swansea Town Beach provides boat ramp access to Mount Hope Bay in Swansea, MA (Bristol County). The ramp is functional but features somewhat tight access, so plan accordingly when launching or retrieving your vessel. Adequate parking is available, with payment required via machine. Only authorized vehicles are permitted in the ramp and parking areas.

**Facilities & Regulations:** An accessible portable restroom is located at Ramp #3 near the accessible parking entrance. Keep in mind that swimming is prohibited within 100 yards of the boat ramp on the northerly side of the peninsula, and alcoholic beverages are not permitted at the launch. Mount Hope Bay itself is a scenic, relatively protected waterway that offers safe cruising and easy access to busier nearby waters. The bay's upper eastern shore includes the Fall River waterfront, which supports commercial traffic, so be aware of other vessel activity in the area.
