Swanzey Lake

Swanzey Lake offers a gravel cart-top launch at Richardson Park on the south end of the lake, located at the intersection of Swanzey Lake Road and East Shore Road in Swanzey, NH. This access point is designed for kayaks, canoes, and other car-top boats. **Please note: This is a town residents-only facility**, so access may be restricted. There is no dedicated parking area at the launch, so plan accordingly.

The 108-acre lake provides a scenic paddling destination in Cheshire County's beautiful landscape. Nearby recreation areas include Otter Brook Lake (a motorboat-free option for a quieter paddling experience) and Tully Lake, a large 1,300-acre reservoir. If you need equipment, Swanzey Lake has kayak and canoe rentals available by the hour or day, as well as a campground with full amenities for those planning an extended visit.
