About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Syenite Access is a gravel boat ramp located on the right bank of the St. Francis River in Syenite, St. Francois County, Missouri, just downstream of Highway H Bridge. Note that boats must be carried a short distance to reach the water.

**River Conditions:** This section of the St. Francis River features a normal float gradient suitable for kayaks and canoes. The access point marks the beginning of a section where the river begins to flow more rapidly downstream, making it a good starting point for paddlers seeking moderate current.
