Takelma Park offers a public boat ramp providing access to Lost Creek Lake and the upper Rogue River near the town of Trail in Jackson County. This 40-acre county park features river frontage along the scenic Rogue River and is popular with both anglers and recreational paddlers. The ramp is located on the lake's northwest corner and provides a convenient launch point for exploring the reservoir's 30 miles of shoreline in a mountainous, timbered canyon setting.
Recent conditions show excellent water levels at this access site, with over 50 feet of water depth at the ramp end, making it suitable for launching various watercraft. Note that some portions of the Rogue River Trail near Takelma Boat Ramp through Four Corners Campground and near Fire Glen Campground have area restrictions—check current regulations before paddling or camping. Stewart State Park Campground is located within 10 miles if you're planning an overnight trip.
