Tarryall Reservoir State Wildlife Area offers boaters and paddlers access to the scenic Tarryall Creek. The reservoir has two public boat ramps located on the southern end of the water, providing easy put-in and take-out for both motorized and non-motorized watercraft.
The reservoir is open for boating from late May through the end of October, weather permitting. Hours are 6 AM to 8 PM, Thursday through Monday. Boats will need to undergo an aquatic nuisance species (ANS) inspection before launching. The boat ramps are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Tarryall Reservoir is a popular destination for fishing from both motorized and non-motorized boats like kayaks and canoes. The 886-acre reservoir offers a scenic setting surrounded by the Rocky Mountain landscape. Nearby Spruce Grove Campground provides a convenient option for overnight stays.
