**Location & Access:** Teague Lake provides a gravel boat ramp on Bayou Bodcau near the State Line area in Lafayette County. The ramp accommodates small boats and is suitable for kayakers and canoeists looking to explore this scenic waterway.
**Paddling Conditions & Wildlife:** Bayou Bodcau extends nearly 30 miles from the Arkansas-Louisiana state line southward through a long, narrow corridor (averaging 1.5 miles wide). The area is part of the Bodcau Wildlife Management Area, featuring a dam with water access available on both sides. The bayou supports diverse fish species including Black Bass, Spotted Bass, Crappie, Catfish, and various bream and sunfish, making it popular for fishing as well as paddling. The surrounding WMA offers excellent opportunities to observe waterfowl and wildlife.
