Third Machias Lake

Third Machias Lake Boat Ramp provides public access to Third Machias Lake, a 2,560-acre water body in Washington County, Maine. This is a good launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore the lake and its connection to the Machias River system. The ramp is located in T43 MD BPP township.

**Directions:** From Stud Mill Road, take Little River Road north along the east side of the Machias River. After approximately 4 miles, turn left onto a side road that leads to the boat launch. The lake's size makes it suitable for various paddling skill levels, and anglers frequently use the access point as well.
