About This Access Site
Thomas Hill Lake offers a concrete boat ramp access point in the Kaseyville area of Macon County, making it a convenient launch for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The ramp is located west of Highway 63 near Excello—take Highway T west for six miles to College Mound, then turn north on Highway C and immediately west on Highway T for approximately 2.3 miles to Glider Avenue, then follow signs to the ramp. Gravel parking is available at the launch site.

The lake provides a scenic paddling destination with opportunities to explore multiple sections of water. The site features fishing infrastructure including docks, which suggests good access to different areas of the reservoir. The surrounding conservation area supports diverse recreational opportunities, and nearby Long Branch Lake offers additional options for anglers and paddlers seeking over 2,400 acres of water. Spring and fall are particularly rewarding times to visit, as bald eagles are known to be present on the reservoir.
