Tishkill Lake offers a convenient boat ramp access point for paddlers, anglers, and small motorized boats. The lake is a 5-acre impoundment located about 5 miles north of Raleigh, MS.

The boat ramp provides easy launch access to the small, scenic lake. Tishkill Lake is well-suited for bank fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and small motorized boats. Picnic sites, a picnic shelter, and a hiking trail are also available within the surrounding recreation area.

While Tishkill Lake may not offer extensive open water for larger vessels, it provides a peaceful setting for a variety of water-based activities. A swimming area, 7 picnic sites, picnic shelter and hiking trail make this site appealing for family day-use enjoyment.Shongelo is a fee area and is open seasonally from May through September.
