Tolo Lake offers a well-developed boat ramp and access area on the lake's west side, managed by Idaho Fish and Game. The facility includes a concrete boat ramp, wooden dock, paved accessible path, parking lot, vault toilet, and picnic tables with fire pits. This makes it a convenient launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters year-round. The site is an affiliated location of the Nez Perce National Historical Park, with interpretive panels providing cultural and historical context.
**Access & Navigation:** From I-95 south of Grangeville, take Tolo Lake Road west for 4.2 miles to the access area on your left. Alternatively, from US-95 north of Whitebird Pass, turn left onto Lake Road and continue 2 miles. **Important:** All boaters must observe a strict no-wake restriction on the reservoir. The paved path to the ramp and dock is accessible, making this a good option for paddlers of varying abilities.
