The Toronto-East access point provides boat ramp access to Toronto Lake and the Verdigris River near Toronto in Woodson County, Kansas. This is a major river system—the Verdigris is a Stream Order 8 waterway with an average flow of approximately 6,587 cubic feet per second and an average velocity of 4.61 feet per second. The ramp supports fishing for black bass, bluegill, and sunfish, as well as recreational paddling and boating activities.

**Important considerations:** This ramp can become inaccessible during periods of heavy rain and high water conditions, so check water levels before your trip. The area offers scenic recreation opportunities, including access to Toronto Lake's unique granite outcrop—the site of Kansas' only granite formation and a historic gold rush location from 1887. Nearby Fall River Lake and its 10,900-acre Game Management Area provide additional paddling and wildlife viewing opportunities in the rolling prairie landscape.
