About This Access Site
Totogatic County Park & Campground provides a well-developed boat ramp and access point to the 1,600-acre Minong Flowage in northwest Washburn County, Wisconsin. Located approximately 7 miles west of Minong (take Highway 77 west, then County I north about 6 miles), this modern facility offers convenient launch access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The campground features a dedicated boat ramp, dock facilities, and a sandy beach area suitable for water access.

The campground is an excellent base for paddling and water recreation on the Minong Flowage, which is popular for kayaking, canoeing, boating, and fishing. The facility includes 105 campsites (most with electricity), showers, flush toilets, and various amenities including a playground and nature trails. Nearly half of the campsites provide direct waterfront access, making it ideal for paddlers who want to combine camping with water exploration. The flowage is known for its numerous sand islands and is accessible via a boating channel that connects to nearby Cranberry Lake.

The campground is open seasonally from May 1 through October 31. With reasonable nightly rates starting at $17, it serves as both a convenient day-use launch point and a comfortable overnight destination for paddlers exploring this northwest Wisconsin water body.
