The Town of Marshfield Pier provides a public boat launch facility on the Green Harbor River in Marshfield, MA. This access point features a public launch ramp, pumpout station, restrooms, and a kayak storage rack. A large public parking area is available at Central Avenue and Joseph Driebeek Way, with daily launch fees and annual passes offered through the Harbormaster's office.
The Green Harbor River winds through Marshfield's scenic landscape, passing cranberry bogs, golf courses, and wildlife sanctuaries before flowing into Green Harbor. The ramp is accessible at all tide levels, though water depth averages 3–5 feet at low tide, which paddlers should account for when launching or exiting. Note that vessels over 50 feet in length require a Marshfield mooring permit to tie up at town piers. The site can get busy on weekends, so arriving early is recommended.
