Trail Bridge Campground

**Location & Access:** Trail Bridge Campground is located on the shore of Trail Bridge Reservoir on the McKenzie River near Belknap Springs, Oregon. From McKenzie Bridge, take Highway 126 east approximately 13 miles and turn left at the campground entrance. The site is situated in a scenic setting surrounded by old-growth Douglas fir trees, with campsites available in both forested and open meadow areas.

**Facilities & Recreation:** An on-site boat ramp provides direct access to Trail Bridge Reservoir, making this a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The campground includes basic amenities such as vault toilets, piped water, tables, and fire rings. This is a popular summer destination for fishing and paddling activities. The McKenzie River National Recreation Trail begins nearby, offering additional hiking and biking opportunities for visitors not on the water.

**Paddling Considerations:** Trail Bridge Reservoir offers a more sheltered paddling environment compared to the river sections upstream and downstream. This site works well for paddlers of various skill levels seeking calm-water kayaking and canoeing, along with opportunities for trout fishing. The campground's popularity in summer means it can be busy during peak season.

This small, rustic site is right on the side of the historic McKenzie Pass Highway. Surrounded by towering Douglas fir trees, this is a perfect spot to be on a warm day.Access to Linton Lake Trailhead in the Three Sisters Wilderness is immediately across the highway from the campground.
