About This Access Site
The Trego - North access site provides public boat launch access to Trego Lake, a 383-acre lake in Washburn County, Wisconsin. This facility is ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats looking to explore the lake's calm waters. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 36 feet, making it suitable for various paddling skill levels.
Keep in mind that much of Trego Lake is narrower than 200 feet across, which means slow-no-wake restrictions apply to significant portions of the lake. Paddlers and boaters should review Wisconsin DNR boating regulations before launching. The lake supports diverse fish species including musky, panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, and sturgeon, making it popular for anglers as well.
