About This Access Site
The Minersville Campground boat ramp provides access to Trinity Lake, a large reservoir in the Trinity Alps region of Northern California. The ramp is located directly adjacent to the Minersville Campground, making it a convenient launch site for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats.

Trinity Lake is a popular recreation destination, offering excellent fishing, swimming, and wildlife viewing opportunities. The ramp can be used until the lake level drops below 200 feet in elevation, typically in the late fall or during drought conditions. Boaters should be aware that there is an $8 day use fee to launch at the Minersville ramp.

Nearby camping is available at Minersville Campground as well as several other USFS campgrounds within 10 miles. Anglers can also visit the Trinity River Fish Hatchery, operated by the California Department of Fish and Game, located close to the recreation area. Paddlers and boaters can explore Trinity Lake and the surrounding Trinity Alps wilderness for a scenic day on the water.
