Turtle Beach Lodge

Turtle Beach Lodge offers a convenient double-ramp boat launch on Toledo Bend Reservoir's South Midlake area near Many, Louisiana. The facility features ample parking, a fish cleaning station, and direct access to this large impoundment. The boat ramp is usable at water levels of 160 msl and above. Note that the minimum usable level should be confirmed before launching during low-water periods.

This is a full-service access point ideal for boaters and paddlers seeking both launch facilities and amenities. On-site services include boat and pontoon rentals, a tackle shop with bait and gas, and cabin/RV lodging options. A wide seawall provides additional fishing and staging areas. The quiet cove location makes it suitable for kayaking and canoeing, though paddlers should be aware that Toledo Bend is a large reservoir with significant boat traffic, particularly during fishing tournaments and weekends.

Boles Field Campground (a reservable facility) is located within 10 miles, offering additional overnight accommodations if you prefer to camp separately from the lodge. This makes Turtle Beach Lodge a practical base for multi-day paddling or fishing trips on the reservoir.
