The Twelve Mile Lake boat ramp in Creston provides hard-surface access to this 635-acre recreational lake on Twelvemile Creek. The ramp is well-maintained and serves as the main launch point for the lake, featuring a dock for easy boarding. This is one of three boat ramps available on the lake, offering convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized vessels.
The lake operates under no-wake speed restrictions for all motorized boats, making it relatively safe and peaceful for paddlers. Amenities at the site include accessible facilities, restrooms, and a fishing jetty. The lake is known for excellent fishing opportunities year-round, with walleye, largemouth bass, crappie, channel catfish, and bluegill populations. Shoreline access is also available for those interested in exploring by paddle or bank fishing.
Note that aquatic vegetation management occurs seasonally (curly leaf pondweed was treated in April 2022), which may occasionally affect water conditions. This is a developed, well-maintained public access point suitable for all skill levels of paddlers and boaters.
