Upper Devils Lake

Upper Devils Lake is a 42-acre lake in Barron County, Wisconsin, offering convenient public boat access via the Moon Valley boat launch. The lake has a maximum depth of 10 feet and is suitable for paddlers and small motorboats. You can expect to encounter panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye. Since there is no current, the lake is ideal for paddlers of all skill levels looking for a calm water experience.

**Important Information:** All vehicles require a valid Wisconsin State Parks admission sticker. There is no station to purchase stickers at the boat ramp parking lot, so plan to buy one online in advance or register upon arrival. The parking area is relatively small and fills quickly during busy weekends. A convenience store is located nearby on Highway 78, with an additional shop at the landing itself. During peak times, overflow parking may be available, though spots can become limited.
