About This Access Site
The Upper Sakatah Lake boat ramp is located at Sakatah Lake State Park on the south shore of this 881-acre lake near Waterville. The ramp accommodates most boats and provides convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and other boaters. The park also offers four rental canoes if you don't have your own watercraft.
Upper Sakatah Lake has a maximum depth of 12 feet, making it suitable for recreational paddling and boating throughout the season. In addition to the main ramp access, paddlers can also access the lake via the Cannon River. This location serves as a good base for exploring the lake and enjoying the surrounding Sakatah Lake State Park, which features the popular Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail for additional recreation opportunities.
