About This Access Site
The US-380 Bridge crossing provides informal access to the Salt Fork Brazos River in Kent County. This site is located at the west end of the bridge near Runaway Bay and can be reached by taking US-380 west from Bridgeport. **Note:** This is not a developed boat ramp facility—there are no docks, concrete ramps, or amenities. Access is limited to informal put-in/take-out at the road crossing.

**Paddlers and boaters should be aware of significant river conditions:** The Salt Fork Brazos in this area contains numerous tree stumps and snags, with frequent shallow sections and narrow passages that make navigation challenging. **This access point is not usable at high water levels.** The river is best suited for experienced paddlers familiar with navigating around obstacles. Water levels vary considerably, so scout conditions before launching and be prepared for shallow, technical sections. Check current water conditions and flow levels before your trip.
