The Valier access site on Lake Frances offers two well-maintained boat ramps ideal for launching kayaks, canoes, and larger recreational boats. Located at the Lake Frances Recreation Area near Valier in Pondera County, this facility provides convenient public access to the lake for paddling and fishing activities.
The recreation area features a full range of amenities to support a day trip or extended visit, including clean restrooms, a fish cleaning station, RV dump station with potable water, and ample grassy areas for picnicking. A children's playground and volleyball/badminton area make this a family-friendly destination. The facility operates seasonally (May 1 – September 30), and overnight camping is available on-site.
