Washoe Lake State Park's North Ramp provides convenient access to Nevada's largest lake via a paved boat launch located at the end of Douglas Drive in the north parking area. This facility is ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters of all sizes, with dedicated boat trailer parking available. The ramp serves as an excellent entry point for exploring the expansive waters of Washoe Lake.

The park offers multiple access points across the lake, making it flexible for different boating preferences. In addition to the North Ramp, paddlers can also access the lake from the main day-use area on the south end.
