About This Access Site
Webber Dam provides access to the Grand River in Lyons, with a boat launch suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. The access point features an extended launch area (50+ yards) and is located near the intersection of Maple Road and Park Boulevard. Currently, access from the fish ladder side is in good condition for launching and landing.

**Important Portage Information:** This site requires a mandatory 450-foot portage around Webber Dam on river right to access upstream sections. Paddlers heading downstream should use river left access off Peckins Road for takeout. The dam's fish ladder infrastructure makes this a critical transition point for anyone traveling the Middle Grand River Heritage Water Trail.

The Grand River in this section is a moderate-sized stream suitable for recreational paddling. Plan accordingly for the required portage if you're running longer trips, and be aware of dam operations and water levels, which can affect paddling conditions both upstream and downstream of this access point.
