About This Access Site
Wellfleet Town Pier offers a public boat ramp providing access to Wellfleet Harbor and Cape Cod's scenic waters. The ramp is managed by the Harbormaster's Office and operates on a daily and seasonal fee basis. Trailer and boat parking are available seasonally at the pier, and pumpout facilities are provided. Note that Wellfleet Harbor is a designated no-discharge zone, so plan accordingly.

**Important Launch Information:** The ramp is notably steep, so keep safety chains attached when launching or retrieving your vessel. More critically, the harbor requires dredging and the ramp becomes unusable at low tide—plan your launch or return for approximately one to one-and-a-half hours either side of low water to ensure adequate depth. It's about five miles to open water following the federal channel.

**Amenities & Services:** The shoreward end of the town wharf features a snack bar, restaurant, and marine supply store, with groceries and lodging within easy walking distance. The site is well-positioned for exploring Cape Cod National Seashore's forty miles of pristine sandy beaches and protected marshes. Contact the Harbormaster for guest mooring availability and additional facility information.
