The West Dennis Yacht Club offers a concrete boat ramp providing convenient access to the Bass River and Nantucket Sound in Dennis, Massachusetts. This is a primary access point on the west side of the river, suitable for both kayaks/canoes and larger motorboats. The facility includes parking and is located at Horsefoot Cove, making it a good launching point for exploring the river's upper reaches or paddling out to the sound.
From this ramp, paddlers can explore the scenic Bass River, which features a designated speed zone, and venture into Nantucket Sound for coastal paddling.
