West Magic is a developed boat ramp access point on Magic Reservoir in south-central Idaho, offering paddlers and boaters convenient access to this popular recreation destination. Located on the west side of the reservoir near Hailey, the site features parking, a boat ramp, and nearby camping options. The reservoir is suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats, with clear water conditions and a reputation for good trout fishing.
**Access & Navigation:** From Highway 75, turn west onto West Magic Road and proceed approximately 10 miles to reach the ramp. The site is one of several access points around Magic Reservoir (others include East Magic, Lava Creek, and Lava Cove). Be aware that water levels fluctuate significantly with irrigation demands during peak seasons, which may affect launch conditions at certain times of year.
