Westrock Landing on Lake Maumelle provides convenient boat access to this 8,900-acre reservoir just outside of Little Rock, Arkansas. The boat ramps here require a launch fee, but offer a smooth launching process for kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats.
For paddlers, the calm waters of Lake Maumelle provide an ideal setting for exploring the lake and its surrounding forests and shorelines. However, it's important to note that the Sleepy Hollow Access, located at the west end of the lake, is restricted to boats with 25 horsepower motors or less. Larger motorized boats should use the Westrock Landing ramps.
Anglers will find a variety of fish species in Lake Maumelle, including largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish. As a municipal water supply, the lake has special regulations, so it's recommended to contact the local authorities at 501-868-4391 or visit their website for the latest information before planning your visit.
