Whetstone Bay Land Use Area (High Water) - South

**Location & Access:** This boat ramp is located on Lake Francis Case in the Whetstone Bay area of Gregory County, accessed via State Route 1806 on the west side of the lake. The launch features a four-lane concrete ramp with an attached dock and gravel parking area, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and larger boats.

**Practical Information:** Lake Francis Case offers good water depth for recreational boating, with an average depth of 14 feet and maximum depths around 31 feet in the bay area. A park entrance license is required to use this ramp, as it's part of a South Dakota lakeside use area.
