About This Access Site
Whiskey Creek Boat Ramp is a National Park Service access point on the north side of Whiskeytown Lake in Shasta County, California. The ramp provides a convenient launch site for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats to explore this scenic reservoir.

The ramp is located approximately 1.6 miles from the Whiskeytown Visitor Center and Group Picnic Area. Boaters can moor their vessels at the picnic area, and boat rentals are available 5.5 miles away at Oak Bottom Marina. The facility offers ample parking for vehicles and trailers, as well as accessible restrooms and picnic tables.

Whiskeytown Lake is a popular destination for water recreation, offering over 36 miles of shoreline and depths up to 200 feet. The lake's protected coves and calm waters make it well-suited for paddling and small boating. Nearby hiking trails, including the Whiskey Creek Trail, provide opportunities to explore the surrounding Whiskeytown National Recreation Area.
