About This Access Site
White Bank Park offers a convenient public boat ramp and fishing pier on Swift Creek, a large headwater stream in Virginia's Piedmont region. The concrete ramp and floating dock provide easy access to the creek, which flows at an average velocity of 2.27 feet per second and drains a watershed of over 16,000 square miles.

The boat ramp lies about half a mile downstream of the Interstate 95 bridge, where Swift Creek is still relatively narrow and shallow compared to its size farther downstream. This makes it a popular spot for small recreational boats, kayaks, and canoes to access the water. The park grounds also offer picnic shelters, a disc golf course, and other amenities for visitors. While specific hours or fees may vary, the boat ramp provides year-round access to explore this scenic Piedmont waterway.
