About This Access Site
The White Lake Municipal Boat Launch is located south of the traffic light on Water Street in Bethel, past the marina and Band Shell. This hard-surface ramp features three docks with six launch slips and includes a fish cleaning station, making it a convenient full-service access point for boaters and anglers. Note that this is an unimproved trailer launch without float-off or float-on capability—small to medium trailered boats can be pushed on or off the trailer at the water's edge, but larger vessels may face limitations.

White Lake is a productive fishing destination with healthy populations of Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Chain Pickerel, and Panfish. Anglers report success trolling spoons and plugs for trout and targeting the lake's robust bass population. Paddlers and boaters should plan their visit during daylight hours and consider obtaining a Sullivan County launch permit if required. For detailed information on parking, current conditions, and driving directions, visit the Boat Launch Sites for Sullivan County page. The nearby Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River also offers additional paddling opportunities with scenic rapids and quiet pools.
