White Oak Lake

White Oak Lake is a public boat launch located approximately 9 miles south of Manning in Itasca County, accessible via County Road 345 (White Oak II Drive) off County Road 64. This ramp provides a convenient entry point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats looking to explore the area's interconnected waterways.

The launch can accommodate boats up to 12-18 feet, depending on water levels and conditions. There are no launch fees at this access point. The site offers a straightforward single-lane ramp setup, making it suitable for recreational paddling and boating. From White Oak Lake, paddlers have access to nearby paddling destinations including the Mississippi River Headwaters areas at Winnibigosh Lake and Pokegema Lake, providing opportunities for day trips or extended excursions in this scenic northern Minnesota region.
