**Location & Access:** The White Rock Lake West boat ramp is located in Dallas on White Rock Creek, a tributary of the Trinity River. From I-30, head north on East Grand Avenue, turn left onto Winsted Drive, right on White Rock Road, and left onto West Lawther Drive—the park and ramp are on your right opposite Fisher Road. The site offers a two-lane boat ramp with parking and basic facilities including a boat dock and marina.
**Water Conditions & Paddling:** White Rock Lake covers 1,088 acres with a maximum depth of 20 feet and offers a relatively accessible paddling environment. For kayakers and canoeists, the most accessible launch sites on the creek are at the Mockingbird Lane bridge near the lake's mouth and approximately 5 miles upstream at Moss Park near Greenville Avenue. Paddlers should be prepared for normal obstructions along the creek; however, motivated paddlers can typically navigate through them. The lake itself is suitable for various boat types and offers fishing opportunities.
