About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** This town-owned boat ramp is located in the southeast corner of Wickaboag Pond in West Brookfield, MA. The ramp features a state-maintained concrete launch area with a concrete pad system suitable for smaller boats. From Route 9 in West Brookfield center (near the traffic lights and police station), follow signs to the pond access area.

**Parking & Facilities:** Parking is limited, with only 7 dedicated boat launch spaces available. The site also includes a town beach, which shares additional parking. This modest facility works well for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats, though availability may be tight during peak season.

**Pond Conditions:** Wickaboag Pond supports a healthy fishery including trout, largemouth bass, northern pike, picklrel, and black crappie, making it popular with anglers. The pond experiences heavy recreational use during summer months due to extensive shoreline development with cottages and year-round homes, so expect congestion on weekends and warm-weather days. The DCR-managed pond is well-suited for paddling and small craft recreation.
