About This Access Site
Wilderness Camp Marina offers convenient access to Allatoona Lake, a popular recreational reservoir located just 30 miles north of Atlanta. This full-service marina is tucked away in a secluded cove, providing a peaceful launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and small to medium-sized motorboats.

The marina features a boat ramp and can accommodate a variety of vessel sizes, even during periods of low water levels. Paddlers will appreciate the calm, protected waters of the cove, which lead out to the broader expanse of Allatoona Lake. Boaters can refuel and access additional amenities at the nearby Park Marina, just one mile across the lake.

As part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Allatoona Lake recreation area, Wilderness Camp Marina offers a serene setting for those seeking to explore this 12,000-acre reservoir. Visitors can also find several nearby campgrounds to extend their time on the water.
