William Kain County Park offers convenient water access to Lake Williams, a 220-acre impoundment on the East Branch Codorus Creek in Jacobus. The park features a boat ramp suitable for various vessel types, from small inflatables to larger recreational boats, along with ample parking. Located on 1,637 acres, the park also provides kayak rentals, making it accessible for paddlers of all experience levels.

To reach the Lake Williams access area, take Water Street west from N. Main Street in Jacobus Borough and look for the park access road marked by a yellow gate on the right side. In addition to water recreation, the park offers shore fishing, picnic areas, and hiking/biking trails. Lake Williams is ideal for calm-water paddling and fishing, whether by kayak, canoe, or motorboat. The park is managed by York County, and additional facilities include rental pavilions for larger gatherings.
