About This Access Site
**Overview & Amenities**
Willow Grove Beach is a 60-acre regional day-use park in Longview offering convenient boat access to the Columbia River and surrounding waterways. The site features a small boat ramp (no dock), making it well-suited for kayaks and canoes. The park is fully equipped with two restroom buildings, ample parking for vehicles with trailers, picnic areas, scenic trails, and beach access—making it ideal for a full day of recreation.

**Water Access & Paddling Options**
The launch provides direct access to Coal Creek Slough and a network of backwater sloughs within the Willow Grove Wetland. Paddlers looking to reach the main Columbia River can expect approximately 4.5 miles of paddling west through the sloughs. This makes Willow Grove an excellent starting point for both sheltered wetland exploration and longer river trips on the Columbia.
