About This Access Site
Willow Oak #3 provides convenient access to the 185,000-acre Toledo Bend Reservoir in the southwestern corner of the lake near Sandy Branch, off Willow Oak Road south of Hemphill. The site features a two-lane concrete boat ramp capable of handling all boat types, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and larger vessels. Portable restrooms are available on-site, and the ramp is maintained year-round by the Sabine River Authority of Texas, ensuring reliable access throughout most seasons.

This location is an excellent launching point for exploring the expansive Toledo Bend Reservoir, which offers plenty of open water paddling opportunities. A day-use fee is required to access the facility. Whether you're planning a casual paddle, fishing trip, or longer excursion on the reservoir, Willow Oak #3 provides the basic amenities and stable ramp conditions needed for a successful outing.
