About This Access Site
Located at 11800 Mobile Highway near the US 90 Bridge in Pensacola, this modern facility opened in 2016 and offers excellent access to the Perdido River. The 4.8-acre park features dedicated launch options for different watercraft: two concrete boat ramp lanes for motorboats, an ADA-accessible dock with hand-launch capability, and a separate paddle craft launch designed specifically for canoes and kayaks. With 31 parking spaces (including trailer parking), covered picnic facilities, and restrooms on-site, this is a well-developed access point suitable for paddlers of all ability levels.

The Perdido River is a scenic blackwater river popular with kayakers and canoeists for leisurely paddling. Wilson B. Robertson serves as a convenient launch point and also functions as a take-out location (mile 18.0) for paddlers running longer sections of the river. Whether you're planning a day trip or using this as part of a multi-day paddle, the floating dock and dedicated paddle craft launch make launching and landing straightforward, even during varying water levels.
