The Pond 'N River access point on the Tippecanoe River is located within the 4,850-acre Winamac Fish & Wildlife Area, approximately five miles north of Winamac in Pulaski County. This public boat ramp is situated near the Lake Manitou Dam at 9th Street and Ewing Road and provides convenient access to a scenic seven-mile stretch of the Tippecanoe River. The site includes a paved boat ramp, parking area, picnic facilities, and fishing piers, making it well-suited for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats.
Paddlers will enjoy a meandering river corridor bordered by diverse habitats including oak forests, pine plantations, wetlands, and prairie areas. The river offers moderate paddling conditions through a relatively undeveloped landscape, with ample opportunity for wildlife viewing and exploration.
