About This Access Site
Wolf Creek Lake Park offers a well-maintained two-lane boat ramp suitable for all vessel types, located near Coldspring in Anderson County. The facility features a courtesy dock, ample parking, and a cleaning station to help you prepare for your time on the water. From Coldspring, take Texas 156 north approximately 1 mile, then turn right on Highway 224 and travel 5 miles to reach the marina.

This is a day-use facility with amenities including public restrooms and showers. A $5 access fee or annual pass is required to use the ramp. **Note that Wolf Creek Park is seasonally closed from October 1 through March 31**, so plan your paddling trips accordingly. If you need year-round access, alternative ramps are available at Liberty Hill Park, Oak Park, and Brushie Prairie Park on Wolf Creek Lake.

The 110-acre park, operated by the Trinity River Authority, is a good launching point for exploring Wolf Creek Lake. Anglers and recreational paddlers alike frequent the area, which also offers a fishing pier and picnic facilities if you want to extend your visit.
