About This Access Site
Wolf Creek Park offers a convenient public access point to Lake Livingston on the Trinity River in San Jacinto County, near Coldspring, Texas. The facility features a two-lane boat ramp suitable for all boat types, along with a courtesy dock, parking area, and boat cleaning facilities. This 110-acre park, operated by the Trinity River Authority, is one of six public ramps providing access to the lake and is free to use.

To reach Wolf Creek Park from Coldspring, take Texas 156 north approximately 1 mile, then turn right on Highway 224 and travel 5 miles to the marina. The park supports a variety of water activities including boating, fishing, and swimming. Note that Lake Livingston has restrictions on motor types—only small electric motors are permitted—making it an ideal destination for kayakers, canoeists, and anglers. For camping and overnight accommodations, the Trinity River Authority operates additional facilities nearby, and Lake Livingston State Park is also available in the area.
