About This Access Site
Located in Wyalusing, Grant County, this boat ramp provides direct access to Glen Lake on the Mississippi River's Pool 10 section. The ramp is situated in the heart of a scenic slough area between Lynxville, WI and Guttenberg, IA, making it an ideal launch point for kayakers and canoeists exploring the Upper Mississippi River Valley. An accessible fishing pier is also available on-site, and motorboats are permitted on the water.

The area offers excellent opportunities for paddlers to explore the scenic river valley, with frequent vistas and nearby hiking trails along the ridges. The recreation area is located about 2 miles from Wyalusing State Park, and rental boats are available from businesses in the nearby Bagley and Prairie du Chien areas if needed. This access point serves as a good starting location for both day trips and longer paddles through this scenic section of the Mississippi River.
