About This Access Site
**Location & Facilities**
Wyoming Dam Fishing Access is located at the south end of Wyoming Pond in Richmond, where Bridge Street and Nooseneck Hill Road meet in Wyoming village. The site features a gravel boat ramp suitable for launching hand-carried boats and canoes, with a decent-sized parking lot available at the adjacent small park.

**Paddling & Access Notes**
This 26-acre pond is an excellent destination for recreational paddling and fishing, with the Wood River entering at the north end. The access point serves as both a launch site and a portage location—paddlers planning to continue downstream on the Wood River will need to portage around the Wyoming Dam. The pond supports a healthy population of largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, chain pickerel, trout, and sunfish, making it popular with anglers. The nearby John H. Chafee and Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuges offer additional paddling and wildlife viewing opportunities in the area.
